HYDE~ General's charcoal, Winsor & Newton vine charcoal
I finished this one yesterday, after working on it for the weekend. I wanted to draw this particular picture of HYDE but hadn't done it yet. I was going to do a watercolour painting of it but I think doing it with charcoal was satisfactory enough.
Also I've been doing a lot of charcoal commissions irl lately and I think I've improved with it and wanted to draw something for myself to keep.
I wanted this to have a un-real/surreal look about it, especially his hair...I don't care for photorealism so that's not what I was aiming at.
