thanks so much to you too for watching me! I really like the detailed simplicity in your work, especially the ballerina and "Ravengar" I wish I could do something interesting like that in my work, without havin to add all sorts of sparkles and doodles to make it stand out :highfive: you've got such a good eye on unusual portraits/angles, I wanna try non-standard things like that too

Seriously?  :happybounce:  Omg, words like that makes me want to keep going!

I'm trying to make the transition from hobbyist to professional illustrator, but I have a lot to learn about the techniques and materials.
Actually, I think that the simplicity of my drawings comes from this lack of technical knowledge =P

In a simplistic way of saying, it's like you're looking for simplicity and I'm looking for complexity...

I love your style. There is a lot of freedom in how you define colors and shapes. I still don't have this confidence.

Oh, you can do anything you want, you're very talented and skilled! And since you already have some experience and confidence, it's easier (at least in common sense - maybe this reasoning is wrong) to make the reverse way, back to a more, if I may say so, rudimentary drawing. What do you think about it?

I wonder if it's ever possible to feel "professional??" xDD I always feel like a hack no matter what I'm doing or if someone's buying it, so I just call myself a hobbyist. I think this also harkens back to something someone's mum would say..."you always want what the other's got" and vice versa, curly hair want straight hair and straight hair want curly hair! If you know what I mean. :XD: It's funny you say I have confidence but I always felt like I couldn't go "out" without the makeup on my art xDD Because of a lack of it, haha I'd like to have something more "bare" like your works.
